FREED FROM PAST OF ALCOHOL AND ABUSE
Praise_Jesus:
I grew up in an alcoholic home and an abusive home.I was sexually
molested when I was 10 to 12 years old. I was an alcoholic at the age
of 16 and just wanted love and acceptance from someone. So, I looked
for that in men. After dating several men I found my mate for life. We
married and later that year we went to a revival where I heard for the
first time in my almost 20 years that there was a man named Jesus
Christ! He loved me just as I was. I walked forward with my husband .
The Lord forgave me of my mulitude of sins. I fought God for 5 years on
giving up some of those sins but when I did I was so blessed. I am now
a mother of 4 children. All are in the family of God and my oldest, 13,
wants to be a preacher. The rest are very much little prayer warriors
and my husband who was an alcoholic also, is now a deacon in our little
Baptist church. The Lord blesses me everyday. I am afraid that I take
things for granted. He has allowed me to witness to numerous people and
help in many ways. I praise Him for my new life in Him.
